The Cultural Committee of VIVA is a deliberate attempt towards strengthening the core values by imbibing the spirit of togetherness.
The C. C. celebrates various days and events like Teachers day, Friendships day, Traditional day, 'Dahi Handi', 'Navratri' etc.,
The purpose of such events is to develop sense of belongingness. Besides this, it also adds flavor to the otherwise academically focused curriculum.

Team work and co-ordination being essence of management, the VIVA IMS makes it learn through various exercises including sports. The responsibility of providing a platform to inculcate sportsmanship in students is shouldered by the Sports Committee of VIVA IMS. The committee organizes several events Iike Shortput, Criciket, Relay. Besides, we have a Gymkhana to support various indoor games like Pool, Table tennis, Carom, etc to help students recreate themselves.

At VIVA, students acknowledge importance of being socially responsible. The Blood Donation Camps organized by the committee is a small step in this direction.

PR Cell acts as a liaison agent between IMS and the outside world. Through its correspondence with various media, PR team is responsible for carrying out advertising and promotional activities for VIVA IMS. It publicizes the offerings and events at VIVA IMS by managing literature and website.

Held on 5th October 2008; was one of the events organized by the FYMMS students. It was a chance for the alumni to reunite with their college friends. There were dances, songs performed by the students and various games were organized for the entertainment of the alumni. To honor the S.YMMS students the award function was also organized. There was a speech delivered by Mr. P M. Pethe, Forex consultant on the topic International Trade.

VIVA development committee is an initiative by the management students for the development of the entire. U238 is the vehicle which facilitates the students to put forth their problems and proposed solutions to the management, which then responds by taking immediate steps in the best interest of the students.

It also works in close co-ordination with the Culture Committee and the Campus Publicity Team to organize various events and fests.

Forums:-
With an objective of taking initiatives, VIVA IMS provided new platforms to it's students with the inception of its forums for each of the management disciplines offered. FINVIN, PYROMARK and V-CONNECT: being the Finance. Marketing and HR forums respectively. These forums -serve the purpose of communicating with the students both in and out of campus, through articles. research findings etc. The launch of these forums has added immensely to the rich knowledge pool of the students.

Despite the demands of the rigorous academic program, the students enthusiastically ly organise and participate in a number of inter college and intra college activities.

The intra college activities constitute of events like quiz, debates and seminars which help in development of the organisational and planning skills of students. The students have been regularly participating in inter B-school competitions and have winning prizes and accolades at these events.
